［E3 2021］「Chivalry 2」のロードマップが公開。次期追加ロケーション“Galencourt”を含むDLCは全て無料に

　Torn Banner Studiosは，日本時間2021年6月14日に開催されたデジタルイベントの「PC Gaming Show」にて，正式ローンチを迎えたばかりのオンライン専用メレーアクション「Chivalry 2」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X / PS4 / Xbox One）のロードマップについて一部紹介した。


　今回のイベントでアナウンスされたのが，本作のチームオブジェクティブモードを補強するための新マップ「Galencourt」だ。大理石のような白肌の石造りによる教会を中核にした，非常に高潔なイメージのあるアガサ騎士団の本拠の1つとなる本マップは，ロンドンのバッキンガム宮殿にインスパイアされており，三方が壁に覆われ，一方には帆船が停泊できる港がある。
　ゲームでは，敵陣のメイソン・オーダーが港側から攻撃を仕掛けるという設定のようで，実際に船舶を舞台に戦い合ったり，船を破壊させてしまうことも可能だという。


　「Galencourt」以降にどのようなDLCが追加されていくのかは具体的に紹介されなかったものの，Trelloを使ったロードマップのプレビューページ（https://trello.com/b/7HnXYjSb/chivalry-2-roadmap-preview）が公開されており，彼らが何を優先して開発を進めていくのかがわかるようになっている。
　今後，ローンチ時点より少なくとも2倍になるほどのコンテンツが，すべて無料でリリースされていくのは確かなようなので，その成長もファンにとっては大きな楽しみとなるだろう。
