ドゥームスレイヤーの飽くなき戦いを描く「DOOM Eternal」。DLC第1弾“The Ancient Gods, Part One”のリリース日が2020年10月20日に決定

　Bethesda Softworksとid Softwareは，2020年3月に発売したFPS「DOOM Eternal」（PC / PS4 / Xbox One）のDLC第1弾である“The Ancient Gods, Part One”の最新トレイラーをgamescom 2020: Opening Night Liveにて公開し，10月20日にリリースすると発表した。


　本DLCは，カーン・マーカーが死んでしまったことにより天界と地獄界のバランスが崩れ，ドゥームスレイヤーは目覚めた古代神たちと戦うことになるという，本編エンディング後のストーリーが描かれるという。
　また，シングルプレイヤー拡張キャンペーンとして，「DOOM Eternal Deluxe Edition」に含まれる“Year One Pass”のコンテンツとして提供されるが，通常版を購入したプレイヤーも個別に購入することが可能だ。



　今回公開された1分半ほどのトレイラーからは，以前にも増しての激しいアクションが期待できる。気になる人は，公式コミュニティハブ「Slayers Club」をチェックしておくといいだろう。
