「DOOM Eternal」の発売日が2020年3月20日に延期。日本での販売情報は決定次第の発表に
id Softwareは，北米で2019年11月22日に発売を予定していた「DOOM Eternal」（PC / PlayStation 4 / Xbox One / Nintendo Switch）の発売を2020年3月20日に延期すると発表した。
この発表は，ベセスダ・ソフトワークスの公式Twitterが明らかにしたもので，延期の理由については，高品質かつスピード感にあふれる最高のゲーム体験を提供するためとしている。なお，これは海外向けの情報となっており，日本国内における販売情報については，決定次第に告知される。
また，「デーモン」となってほかのプレイヤーのゲームに乱入できる「侵入モード」は，無料アップデートとして発売後にまもなくリリースされるほか，Nintendo Switch版の発売日はほかのプラットフォームより後になることや，「DOOM 64」はすべてのプラットフォームの予約特典として無料配布されることが明らかになっている。
