UT2004のDigital Extreme社の新作FPS「Pariah」の発売日決定

　アクションゲームシーンにスポーツシューティングという概念を根付かせたFPSゲームの人気作「Unreal Tournament 2004」の開発元といえば，Digital Extreme社だ。このDigital Extremeが開発中の新作FPSゲーム「Pariah」のアメリカでの発売日が，2005年5月3日に決定したことが，販売元のGroove Gamesより発表された。

　プレイヤーは，医師のJack Masonとなって，乗船していた宇宙船の事故によってたどり着いた監獄惑星からの脱出を図るというストーリーが展開する。開発がDigital Extremeということもあり，FPSファンならば2005年期待の一作であることは疑うべくもないだろう。
